For one night Castello di Petroia goes back into the middle ages, giving to its guests the opportunity to experience the magic atmosphere of the medieval feasts, illuminated only by the warm light of torches and candles, gladdened by enchanting melodies and enriched by the simple and marvellous meals of those ancient times.<\/p>\n

In the midsummer night of 15th August the Castle will wear a special ancient gown.
\nIn the antique square of the \u201cwhite pebble\u201d the stars will witness the return of the Castle and its guests to the \u201ctime that has pasted by\u201d while the musicians Valeria Puletti and Vladimiro Vagnetti will play for you melodies and sing songs of those ancient times that are long gone by now, but are still alive among the millenary stone walls of this severe medieval fortress.<\/p>\n

The walls of the Castle will become the perfect stage for the medieval banquet accompanied by the antique music discovered in ancient manuscripts and interpreted with the use of faithfully reconstructed musical instruments.<\/p>\n

Even the meals will be from the medieval ages; our Chef Walter Passeri explores for years ancient ingredients and reinterprets ancient flavours and will propose you an antique menu with a modern twist.<\/p>\n
